Welcome to Primary 6!

• Welcome to Primary 6 — an exciting and important year in our school journey! As the second-to-last year of primary school, we’ll be developing independence, teamwork, and a love for learning as we explore a wide range of fun and engaging topics.
• This year in World Around Us, we’ll be learning about:
  The Vikings – discovering who they were and how they lived.
  Christmas Around the World – exploring different festive traditions and celebrations.
  The Rainforest – finding out about the plants, animals, and people who live there.
  Fairtrade – learning how our everyday choices can make the world a fairer place.
• We’ll also enjoy:
  Recorder lessons – making music and developing our musical skills.
  Spanish lessons – learning simple words and phrases in a new language.
  PE with GAA coaches – keeping active, learning new skills, and having fun through sport and teamwork.
• Throughout the year, we’ll continue to build our confidence in Literacy, Numeracy, ICT, and the Arts, while supporting one another and celebrating every success along the way.
• Primary 6 is set to be a fantastic year of learning, friendship, and fun!
