Catholic Schools Week 2026
This week, the theme for Catholic Schools Week focused on holiness, with Tuesday’s emphasis on holiness through friendship. During circle time, the children engaged in thoughtful discussions, sharing meaningful ideas about what it means to be a good friend and how kindness can be shown in everyday actions. These conversations reflected Pope Leo’s message that holiness is not only found in prayer, but in how we live and treat others each day.
The children went on to create beautiful hearts of kindness, capturing their ideas in a thoughtful and creative way. A particularly special moment occurred as heavy rain poured outside, and the children sat quietly together in their circle with their eyes closed, calmly taking in their surroundings. It was a lovely reminder that learning and reflection do not always take place at a desk, but can be found in shared moments of stillness and connection.
