As part of Catholic Schools’ Week a prayer service entitled ‘Sing Praise’ was celebrated today in Newry Cathedral with Archbishop Eamon Martin leading the service. Many schools from across the Diocese of Dromore were in attendance.
Our choir children sang along with the choir from St Clare’s Abbey led by Mrs McKenna and Mr Clarke, to lead the congregation in song throughout the service.
David (P7) brought up our school crest at the start of the service and May (P5) read a Prayer of the Faithful. Dara (P7) was interviewed and spoke about his faith infront of the Cathedral congregation. It was a celebration of prayer and song lead by all our Primary and Post Primary schools.
It was our privilege to represent our school
community at the mass by sharing our musical talents.
