Celebrating St. Brigid’s day
29th Jan 2026
St. Brigid of Kildare is one of Ireland’s most cherished patron saints, remembered for her boundless compassion, her devotion to the poor, and her profound harmony with nature. To celebrate her feast day this week, the pupils in Mrs Leddy`s class carried on the beautiful tradition of weaving St. Brigid’s crosses using fresh green rushes and straw.
