Congratulations to this P7 who was awarded the most promising bass player at this year’s Newry Feis. He is taught here in school by Mr Ryan from the EA Music Service. Thank you to Mr Ryan for his hard work and dedication with all the children in our school.
He was awarded The Masterson Perpetual Cup at the Newry Feis awards evening.
Mrs Masterson was a previous Lower Strings tutor in our school for many years and we are delighted that a St Ronan’s pupil was awarded her family trophy.
He performed in the feis this year with our St. Ronan’s P6 and P7 String ensemble. A well deserved award for a great young man.
