On Tuesday 29th April our P5 children celebrated the end of their School Singing Programme with a celebratory Liturgy led by Archbishop Eamon Martin in Newry Cathedral. What a joy it was to have the Cathedral filled with P5 boys and girls from all the participating schools within our local area.
What did St Augustine say? “Those who sing well pray twice.” Well there were plenty of prayers said on Tuesday with the wonderful singing from our St Ronan’s children.
A special word of thanks should go to Orla and Sara-Jane from the programme for their hard work and dedication within our school. It is a pleasure for our children to take part in a wonderful programme.
