Today Primary 5 began exploring the 9 times tables. The children made sets of 9 up to 9 times 12 by using paper plates and sweets. The boys and girls looked at the commutative aspect of times tables to see that the order of numbers in a times tables sum doesn’t change the answer. The children then went on to explore related division facts using the 9 times tables.
